Courses
· Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering — the electrical foundation for mechanical engineering: fields, networks, AC quantities. Large foundational lecture with live experiments.
· Measurement Technology for Mechanical Engineers — signal chain, uncertainty and sensor principles; every quantity made tangible through real in-lecture experiments.
· Laboratory: Measurement, Control and Automation — hands-on at the test bench: measuring, controlling, regulating in teams.
· Electrical Machines and Drives — design and operation of electrical machines from miniature drives to traction machines.
· Methodological Design of Mechatronic Systems — systematic design of mechatronic systems from requirements to verification.
· Applied Design Methodology in Mechatronics — project-based application of design methodology to real tasks.
· Haptic Technologies for the Human-Machine-Interface — perception, actuation and control of haptic systems, closely following the textbook Engineering Haptic Devices.
